(If you want to see their engagement photos, you can here!)

A fantastic day for me in my own stomping grounds – good old Souderton, PA.

Photographing a wedding is always a privilege.

And this one in particular – laid back. Fun.

And they made it very clear how important family and friends are to them.

Thank you, Bekah and Nathan, for inviting Kerry and I to capture your day for you!

Karla T - Thank you again for volunteering your amazing eye for the Harambee Foundation race. Love these pictures. You have an amazing eye. After the H5K, I would love for you to do some shots for me.

Barb Gehman - These pictures captured the day perfectly! It was especially nice to read your comments about Bekah and Nate’s wedding. A laid back, fun celebration with family and friends was exactly what they wanted for their wedding day. The memories of this special day will be brought to life for many years to come every time we look at your photos. Thank you!July 8, 2011 – 2:55 pm

Senior Session :: Brandon Derstine

I’ve been looking forward to this session for a long time.

Brandon and his family are good friends, and they also happen to be faithful fans of my photography!

We started out at a barn that he’s done some work on..

Congratulations, Brandon!

Life with Kaishon - So handsome! That barn is awesome. WOW! I love that he is fixing it. Such a great skill set to have! : ) Have an awesome Senior year!July 2, 2011 – 9:31 am

Bekah & Nathan :: the E-session

I’ll have the privilege of photographing Bekah and Nathan’s wedding in a few weeks,

and we spent some time together the other day ‘getting to know each other’.

Off to my old stomping grounds – Perkasie.

Aside from getting scolded by a somewhat-cranky gentleman … and almost taking on squawking geese for a photo opportunity, we had a great time!

I’m excited to share their wedding day with them – but for now, here’s a few of my favorites from their engagement session.

Bekah and Nathan – you two make a great couple!

I can’t wait to see you both on your wedding day!

And as a bit of a send-off, here’s a little video for you:

Life with Kaishon - These look spectacular Kevin! Great job! I hope you have a wonderful time shooting their wedding. They look so young : ) Maybe I am just old! I love that bridge. The lines are fantastic. I love shooting there.June 1, 2011 – 9:15 pm

Kimberly Kulp - These are gorgeous! 2 Kulp’s have never looked so good! ;0)

Nice work Kevin!

LIVE MUSIC :: Eric Lee Burkert @ Steel City Coffee House

I was looking forward to this evening.

I’ve been shooting quite a bit of live music lately, but have yet to make it out to Steel City Coffee House

Eric Lee Burkert. I’d had the opportunity to hear him at the Celebrate Souderton event a few weeks earlier.

He told me about his upcoming album, and the party he was going to throw to celebrate.

I knew I wanted to be there.

But even with this anticipation, I had no idea what was I was in store for.

The musicians that gathered and shared their gifts to help Eric release his debut album were first class. Every one of them.

The atmosphere in the place was electric.

Friends. Family. Fans.

What a night.

So – here’s a few of my favorites. Sorry to say, it really is only a snapshot of just how special this show was.

Eric – well done.

Here’s a little something extra for your listening AND viewing pleasure…the music is ‘Overboard Interlude’ from Eric’s album.

Live Music::Chillfest for Steel City Coffeehouse

Cool Day Productions was at it again.

In a way of saying ‘thanks’ to a friend,

Nathan Allebach and Eric Sirianni gathered some musicians to host an evening of live music,

raising support for Steel City Coffee House.

Among others, Boog, Brian Medlin, and the Dave Spencer Trio brought some fantastic music to that small stage.

From Boog To Brian Medlin…

…and then the eclectic Dave Spencer Trio…

Great music! And all of these are regularly seen and heard at Steel City.

If you’ve never been there, check out their schedule.

A coffeeshop with a focus on excellent music. How can you go wrong?

Life wih Kaishon - These pictures are awesome Kevin! It looks like a very fun night! Your photography at these events is spot on! Perfection!April 6, 2011 – 8:23 pm
