Bekah & Nathan :: the E-session

I’ll have the privilege of photographing Bekah and Nathan’s wedding in a few weeks,

and we spent some time together the other day ‘getting to know each other’.

Off to my old stomping grounds – Perkasie.

Aside from getting scolded by a somewhat-cranky gentleman … and almost taking on squawking geese for a photo opportunity, we had a great time!

I’m excited to share their wedding day with them – but for now, here’s a few of my favorites from their engagement session.

Kristie and Jason :: the wedding

There’s something about being a part of a wedding that you don’t get with any other kind of photography. Yes, it’s a very exciting day – quite possibly the biggest day in the couples’ lives.

But it’s a little more than that.

I think it’s the anticipation of the event … all the planning. All the dreaming.

For the bride – here’s your day! Everything you’d wanted it to be since you were a little girl.

The groom – ‘I can’t believe she said yes…’

My job – and my privilege – is to wrap all that up, squeeze it through the little lens on the end of my camera, and give those couples memories that they can pass along to their children.

At the end of the day, all you have left is your photos.

Jason and the guys started off the day at Modern Male Barbershop for some straight shaves, head massages, and ‘guy-primping’

That’s one proud father!

Philadelphia Trolley works provided the party wagon for the day

One thing there was definitely NOT a shortage of was smiles. Big ones!

Uncle Nick was in from Pittsburgh, and did a few Sinatra tunes. As you’ll see later, the music for the party ROCKED

Janis Nowlan brought her band … live music is the way to go, and they did a fantastic job keeping the dance floor hopping

Jayne & Mike :: the Wedding

Earlier this summer, I had another opportunity to help a couple remember their wedding day for years to come – through photographs.

Jayne and Mike are two people that are great to be around, and their wedding day was a lot of fun – full of smiles, laughter, a practical joke or two, and a few surprises.

I LOVE watching Dad see his daughter for the first time in her gown …

When I found out they were both big into basketball, I knew exactly what their ring photo would be…

Lianna&Mike: the E-Session

In a few weeks, I have the honor of photographing Lianna and Mike’s wedding day, and I always like to spend some time with the couple before the big day. So we squeezed an engagement session in between some crazy storms we’ve been having around here and headed over to the gardens at Byer’s Choice.
